The Brief
This was a dual-space renovation with two very different briefs. The bathroom needed to be a statement - something that would feel like a luxury retreat. The kitchen had to be functional but equally impressive, with a metallic finish that could hold its own against the dramatic stonework in the wet areas. The client wanted natural materials in the bathroom and a more industrial edge in the kitchen. Two distinct aesthetics, one cohesive home. The challenge was executing both to the same high standard.
The Bathroom: Carved Stone & Granite
The bathroom is centred around a hand-carved natural stone basin - a sculptural piece that sets the tone for the entire space. We sourced this from specialist stone suppliers and built the rest of the bathroom around it. Floor-to-ceiling granite creates that cave-like luxury feel, with careful attention to waterproofing behind every panel.
The brass pendant lights above the vanity add warmth to what could otherwise feel cold. It's that balance between dramatic and liveable that makes this bathroom work. The mirror placement was strategic - it doubles the visual impact of the stonework without adding visual clutter.
A dedicated toilet alcove keeps the space feeling generous. Every fixture was selected to complement the stone - brass tapware, quality hardware, finishes that will age well alongside natural materials.

The Kitchen: Metallic Grey & Integrated Appliances
The kitchen takes a completely different approach. Metallic grey cabinetry with a handleless design creates clean, contemporary lines. The waterfall stone benchtop anchors the island - a gathering point for the household that connects the kitchen to the living areas.
We integrated European appliances throughout: oven and microwave in a dedicated appliance wall, rangehood concealed, fridge built into the joinery. The result is a kitchen that looks streamlined but packs serious functionality. Nothing breaks the clean lines.
The breakfast bar provides casual seating without cluttering the space. Corner cabinetry was designed to maximise storage - soft-close hardware throughout, no dead corners, every centimetre working. The metallic finish is surprisingly warm once you're in the space, especially with natural light coming through.
