The Brief

This was a full cosmetic overhaul of an apartment on Market Street in the heart of the Sydney CBD. The goal was to take a dated property and transform it into a modern, high-value asset, ready for sale or a high-end rental. The "before" photo shows just how much of a change was needed. The scope included a complete kitchen and bathroom renovation, new flooring, and a full repaint.

Kitchen Transformation

The kitchen required the biggest change. We completely stripped out the old, tired joinery, brown benchtops, and dated splashback tiles. The new kitchen features sleek, handleless white cabinetry for a clean, contemporary look, light stone benchtops with an under-mount sink, and a new electric cooktop and oven. The soft blue glass splashback adds a touch of colour while being easy to clean. New light timber-look flooring continues into the living space.

Bathroom Upgrades

Both bathrooms were fully modernised with a consistent palette of large-format, stone-look tiles on the floor and feature walls, paired with simple white tiles elsewhere. Modern vanities with storage and stylish vessel sinks create a contemporary feel. Walk-in showers and bathtubs with frameless or semi-frameless glass screens maximise the sense of space. New toilets and quality chrome tapware complete the transformation.

Full Apartment Refresh

To complete the project, we laid new flooring and repainted the entire apartment. The light-coloured flooring and fresh white walls create a bright, neutral canvas. The photos of the living room and master bedroom have been virtually staged to show how the renovated space can be used, highlighting the quality of the underlying finishes.
